Cette compilation indispensable rassemble les faces remixées par des deejays classiques du milieu des années 70, produites par le fameux maître de l'époque Bunny Lee, avec les Aggravators qui jouent derrière. Dans le style reggae, les Djs ne sont pas ceux qui font le mix (comme pour le hip-hop), ce sont les voix qui parlent, chantent, éructent, rappent et louent sur des versions instrumentales. Vous avez ici les racines du rap et des Djs d'aujourd'hui avec les meilleurs artistes des années 70 dans ce domaine : I.Roy, Tappa Zukie, Dr Alimantado, Jah Stitch, Dillinger, Prince Jazzbo et Prince Far I. Les dubs (versions) sont mixés par le grand et légendaire King Tubby.
