Encore une réédition Blood & Fire qui met en évidence le génie de Osbourne Ruddock, a.k.a. King Tubby. "Freedom sounds in dub" inclus les mixes dub que l'ingénieur a fait dans son studio à Kingstown pour le label Freedom Sounds du producteur Bertram Brown, avec le groupe Soul Syndicate, dirigé par le guitariste Earl 'China' Smith, sur des classiques roots par des gens tels que Prince alla, Phillip Frazer ou Rod Taylor. King Tubby avait beaucoup appris de ses apprentis, Scientist et Prince Jammy, et il exprime ici une grande créativité. Écoutez juste "Great stone", un des meilleurs dub de Tubby (sur le "Stone" de Prince Alla)
