teenage fanclub the king Je pense qu'une question au bac philo pourrait être la suivante : "peut-on vraiment faire la critique d'un tel disque?". Album OVNI sorti en édition limitée dans l'indifférence la plus fracassante, ce disque a, je crois, été enregistré pour terminer au plus vite un contrat insatisfaisant. Si "Catholic education" était plutôt mal enregistré, celui-ci ferait périr sur place des producteurs comme euh… disons… allez, un nom ignoble quoi… j'ai trouvé : Hugh Paghdam. Le fan trouvera son compte à les écouter improviser en n'importe quoi-majeur. Il s'agit effectivement d'improvisations d'inspiration bruitisto-rigolote, à l'exception de deux reprises : un "Like a virgin" beaucoup moins barré qu'on pourrait le penser, et "Interstellar overdrive". Est-ce vraiment une reprise d'ailleurs? Pour moi tout ceux qui la reprennent en deviennent le compositeur.
Si cela ne vous fait pas peur jetez-vous sur le morceau éponyme de l'album… il dure 2 minutes 20, mais on a l'impression qu'il dure 10 fois plus.
Il va de soi que cet album est indispensable pour les fans, mais qu'il vaut mieux ne pas l'écouter tout de suite si on espère le devenir.
