Junie Morrisson, ex-Ohio Players, a fait plus que rejoindre la p-crew, ses talents de génie frappé de folie font merveille aux claviers et à l'écriture. Funkadelic nous envoie une nouvelle bombe. "One nation under a groove", le morceau-titre, peut-être le plus connu du groupe, est à mon avis le moins bon de l'album. C'est dire. S'enchaîne ensuite un mélange orgasmique de perles de funk rock, d'instrumentaux on ne peut plus bizarres, d'exceptionnelles versions live de "Maggot brain" et de "Think! It Ain't Illegal Yet", mais plein d'autres trucs aussi. La déclaration d'interdépendance du funk.
